Itinerary
Day 1: Saturday, September 10 - Pompeii and Cilento
Arrive at Naples Capodichino International Airport (NAP) and board your private moto coach for the journey south to the Cilento region and the Villa La Ginestra in Castel San Lorenzo. Along the way, we'll make a stop at the ancient city of Pompeii. Frozen in time by the nearby Mount Vesuvius, Pompeii is one of the few sites where an ancient city has been preserved in exact detail - everything from jars and tables to paintings and people were frozen in time over 1900 years ago. Enjoy a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site; free time for lunch and shopping. After checking into the villa, the remainder of the day is yours to relax, before rejoining your party for a welcome dinner with chef Michele Granuzzo.

Day 2: Sunday, September 11 - The Best of Cilento
Step back in time and see how southern Italy REALLY lived. The day's first stop is the medieval castle of Roccadaspide. Over 800 years old, the castle is one of the best in the region and the castle's owner will personally take you on a tour. As it is Sunday, you'll enjoy a traditional six-course family dinner at a lovely agriturismo located in the beautiful countryside. Afterwards, we'll return to the villa to relax and enjoy a local Campania region wine and olive oil tasting.

Day 3: Monday, September 12 - Full cooking lesson with Michele Granuzzo
After breakfast, we'll start with our full cooking lesson 3 courses Everyone can participate. In the evening we will spend free time in the seaside village of Agropoli.

Day 4 : Tuesday, September 13 - Monastery of Padula
Spend the day at the Monastery of Padula, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is a blend of Italy's religious and crusader past. Off the beaten path, this sixteenth-century monastery is prized for its architectural splendor and rich collection of artistic treasures. After a tour and free time, we'll have a meal based on the famous mountain potato in a beautiful restored villa. Our last stop is Joe Petrosino Museum. Then we will head back to the villa for our pizza cooking course. We will all make pizza together in our wood burning oven.

Day 5: Wednesday, September 14 - Palinuro
We'll head west to the Cilento Coast, to the sea towns that hug the cliffs and their spectacular views. We will board a boat in Palinuro and ride down the coast. Stopping in the "blue grotto" and the Beach of Arco Naturale, then the most famous Buondormire Beach, accessible only by sea. Free time to swim or enjoy a drink. Lastly we will head back to the villa to have our cooking lesson with Michele.

Day 6: Thursday, September 15 - Positano and the Amalfi Coast
Today we are taking the ferry along the Amalfi Coast to Positano. After some free time to explore the village we'll take a small boat around the island of Capri. Back to the villa for dinner and cooking lesson.

Day 7: Friday, September 16 - Full cooking lesson with Michele Granuzzo
Today is our last day and a full day of cooking lessons. In the evening we will head out to Paestum, the Greek Temples to have ice cream and toast goodbye.

About Chef Michele Granuzzo
Michele Granuzzo is a up and coming talent in the culinary world. Born in the Italian Dolomites he has pulled from many surrounding cultures to design and create a fun and interesting collection of recipes. He gives cooking classing, caters events and has his own line of gourmet desserts that are served throughout Europe.
