Itinerary
Day 1: NAIROBI
Situated along the Nairobi River in beautiful Kenya, the capital of Nairobi is East Africa's most cosmopolitan city. It serves as an excellent starting point for African safari trips around Kenya. Nairobi is Africa’s 4th largest city and is a vibrant and exciting place to be. There are some fascinating attractions: its cafe culture, unbridled nightlife, the National Museum, the Karen Blixen Museum and most notably, just 20 minutes from the city center, wild lions and buffalo roam in the world’s only urban game reserve. Make sure you pay a visit to the elephant orphanage operated by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for a once in a lifetime experience. On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are met by an Odyssey Safaris representative and transferred to your accommodation, Nairobi Serena Hotel for overnight. Accommodation: Nairobi Serena Hotel Day 2: NAIROBI After breakfast, you will meet with your driver/guide at the lobby for today's activities. Today’s tour of Nairobi takes in all the highlights, first you will have a visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and its pioneering orphan’s project. Check in is at 1030 Hours, here you will meet the little ones as they return from foraging in the bush, ready for their milk feed. Check out at 1200 Hours. Continue to the Giraffe Center, check in at 1215 Hours. This is the home of the endangered Rothschild Giraffe, where you will have the opportunity to interact with these gentle giants. Check out at 1315 Hours and return to Nairobi Serena Hotel. Separating northern and southern Kenya, Tsavo East National Park features bushy grasslands, open plains dotted with baobabs alternating with semi-arid acacia scrub and lush woodlands. The arid environment with its unique red earth creates spectacular photo opportunities. This park is home to some of the largest elephant and buffalo herds in Kenya. Tsavo East boasts rich biodiversity and is said to be one of the last remaining wildernesses. Visitors can enjoy many wonderful attractions including: Galana River and Lugard’s Falls; the magnificent Yatta Plateau; and Mudanda Rock, a natural viewpoint that overlooks a much visited and photographed drinking hole. The south of the park is busier, while north of Galana is a remarkably quiet wilderness where visitors can enjoy this unspoilt beauty. This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Tsavo East National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch. Ithumba Camp is hidden within the depths of the remote northern area of Tsavo East National Park. The camp features a backdrop of the beautiful Ithumba hill which boasts stunning views of the Yatta Plateau, famously known as the longest lava flow in the world. At 0345pm you depart and drive to the stockades for the feeding of the baby elephants which lasts until 5:30pm. Return to the camp by 6pm for dinner. Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch & dinner Accommodation: Galdessa Camp Day 4: TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK Today at 6:00am wake up for a full breakfast and at 7am depart for morning feeding and a game walk searching for wildlife and ending with the wonderful opportunity to walk within the stockades and see how the elephants live and are cared for. You return to the camp at 10 am to enjoy the rest of the morning before you return to the elephants for their mud bath between 12noon and 1pm. Lunch is served from 1pm to 3 pm. Galdessa Camp Overlooking the Yatta Plateau, Galdessa Camp invites guests to immerse themselves in the untouched corners of Tsavo. Shaded by doum palms, each tent is elevated and situated under thatch roofs. Guests can take advantage of the breathtaking vistas from the bedroom’s front deck or enjoy a shower under the stars. The rooms are a combination of twin and double beds, and each includes an en suite bathroom. Under the thatched roof, the airy mess area provides ample, communal space for guests to gather and immerse themselves in Tsavo’s natural beauty. The combined living and dining room gives way to wooden decks and an infinity swimming pool perched on the river’s edge. From every room and outdoor space, guests can enjoy uninterrupted views of the Galana River and beyond. The experienced and attentive staff offer discreet service, ensuring that all guests are well taken care of and fully informed about all that camp and the surrounding Park has to offer. Crater Lake Camp
Tucked away in a hidden corner of Kenya's Great Rift Valley, Crater Lake offers a stirring encounter with wild Africa, just 2hrs drive from the capital City Nairobi. The camp is built on the shores of green volcanic lake in the bottom of an old volcanic crater. The crater is 87 hectares in extent and the lake takes up to 14 hectares of this area. The camp has been awarded a total of four awards by the Kenya travel Magazine “Travel News and Lifestyle” including Best tented camp in Kenya and Best Weekend getaway. It has also gained the reputation of being the most romantic camp in Kenya. The camp is open 24 hours. Activities at the camp are centered on nature and wildlife. There are guided nature walks in the crater and the Sanctuary. The bird list is over 400 species, of which it is easy to spot more than 100 species in a day. There are more than 30 species of wildlife in the sanctuary .At night the Hippo come out of the main Naivasha Lake to graze, and it is possible to see the Aardvark and spring hares, Leopards and Bush Babies on night game drives. There is a colony of over 70 Colobus monkeys living here. In addition, most of the year are Flamingoes covering almost the entire lake, numbers of which can go up to 3000-4000. 
Soroi Mara Bush CampSoroi Mara Bush Camp offers you everything desired in an “authentic safari experience”! Discreetly ‘tucked away’ in a riverine forest on the banks of the seasonal Olare Orok River with an excellent location in the heart of the Game Reserve close to Ol Kiombo airstrip.
All 12 luxury tents have been placed far enough apart to guarantee complete tranquility and privacy. All tents are furnished with a comfortable King-size bed and an additional single bed, mosquito net, en-suite bathrooms and permanent hot and cold showers, clothes rack & storage chest, writing desk & private veranda. Public areas include; a comfortable Lounge and Bar Tent, a private Dining Tent, a Photographers' Lounge, and a little boutique safari shop.
