Day 1: Monday, September 8 - Kraków 
Welcome to Poland!
Our Polish adventure begins in Kraków. You will be picked up by our driver from Kraków Balice airport according to your flight schedule Take some time to relax and prepare for tomorrow's exciting sightseeing adventures. In the evening, you will meet your fellow travelers and tour leader during the welcome dinner.

Day 2: Tuesday, September 9 - Kraków 
Today we will discover Kraków together with our local guide during the walking tour. In the afternoon, we will participate in a vegan pierogi workshop, learning to make Poland's famous dumplings from scratch, followed by the chance to enjoy their culinary creations.
​More about today’s sightseeing:
Kraków – the city of living history. The most popular tourist destination in Poland - and not without reason! Famous for the marvelous Old Town with its mysterious, narrow streets and countless treasures of medieval and renaissance architecture.
You will walk around the Main Market Square with its beautiful townhouses (where, at every hour you can listen to the Cracovian Anthem played from the tower of the St. Mary’s Church) and admire the historical buildings. You cannot miss the St. Mary’s Church, a gothic structure well-known for the wooden altar by Veit Stoss (there are over 200 sculptured characters).
You also cannot miss the Cloth Hall, a renaissance equivalent of a shopping mall, where traders still sell some original, hand-made souvenirs, regional products, etc. Then you will head for the historical buildings of the Jagiellonian University (one of the oldest in Europe). On your way to the Wawel Hill, the location of the Royal Castle, you will also visit Krakow’s most beautiful churches: St. Peter’s and Paul’s Church, or St. Adalbertus Church.

Day 3: Wednesday, September 10 - Zakopane 
In the morning, we will go on a full-day tour to visit Zakopane, a unique town in the Polish Tatra Mountains.
More about today’s sightseeing:
Zakopane is a town of peculiar culture: a highlander town. You can admire the examples of their unique architectural style and the breathtaking mountain landscapes. The tour starts with a ride to the top of Gubałówka mountain by its famous cable car; the next step being the old cemetery in Pęksowy Brzyzek and the
Tatra Museum. You cannot miss the opportunity to do some shopping on Krupówki Street and go for lunch in one of the restaurants(we will give you hints on which restaurants have vegan options). The last stop is the Chapel in Jaszczurówka with its amazing stained-glass windows.

Day 4: Thursday, September 11 - Kraków 
Today you can either enjoy a free morning in Kraków, or sign up for the optional half-day tour to Wieliczka Salt Mine. Please note that the optional tour needs to be booked upfront.
In the afternoon, we will have a vegan food tour with a local foodie guide that will introduce us to Kraków’s vibrant culinary scene.
More about the optional tour:
​We invite you for an underground journey through the labyrinth of corridors, chambers and drifts. The history of Wieliczka salt mine dates back to the 13th century, and the mine kept producing salt until 2007. Today, it is the largest mining museum in the world, where you can admire the equipment and mining technologies even from the Middle Ages. The tour begins with a descent down the stairs to the depth of 64 meters below sea-level. The visitors are led through the numerous chambers, are shown underground lakes and caves and mine corridors lined with salt sculptures. The biggest attraction is the Chapel of St. Kinga – a place of worship carved from salt rock, in its entirety, by the miners. At the end of the tour, you will reach 135 meters below sea-level.

Day 5: Friday, September 12 - Kraków - Warsaw
After breakfast, we will take the train to Warsaw. The train ride will take about 3 hours. In the afternoon, you will discover Warsaw with a local guide, combining both walking and driving to explore the city's rich history.
More about today’s sightseeing:
Become a real Warsaw insider! The tour starts with a short walk around the Old Town. The area of the Old Town was completely destroyed during the Defensive War in 1939 and the Warsaw Uprising. Today you can see it rebuilt: the Royal Castle, the townhouses and churches. Warsaw’s Old Town is a living proof of the great efforts of its citizens to restore the beauty of their city.
Leaving the Old Town by the Royal Route, you will continue to the former Jewish ghetto to hear the world-famous story of Warsaw’s Jews and see the sites of their
heroic fight against Nazi Germans during the war. The last stop is the Łazienki Royal Park with its magnificent greenery, lakes, streams, animals and 18th century houses.

Day 6:  Saturday, September 13 - Lublin
Today we will set out on a full-day excursion to Lublin. We will begin with a visit to Majdanek, a former concentration camp, where we will learn about its history and reflect on its significance. Later, we will have some free time for lunch (you will get hints on vegan-friendly restaurants). After the lunch break, we will discover the charming city of Lublin together with a local guide. The group will then return to Warsaw in the evening.

Stroll through its picturesque streets of Lublin, lined with colorful buildings and medieval architecture, and feel the pulse of its bustling market squares. Delve into Lublin's past at its historic landmarks, including the majestic Lublin Castle and the
captivating Old Town. With its blend of history, charm, and hospitality, Lublin promises a memorable experience for all who visit.

Discover the solemn history of Majdanek, a reminder of the horrors of World War II. As you explore this former concentration camp near Lublin, you'll bear witness to the stark realities of human suffering and resilience. Pay your respects to the lives lost and gain a deeper understanding of the importance of remembrance and tolerance
in today's world.

Day 7:  Sunday, September 14: Goodbye Poland!
All good things come to an end. Today our driver will take you to the train station in Warsaw according to your train schedule.
