Itinerary
Day 1: Monday, Aug 8 - London and York
Arrive in London to meet with the group at King's Cross station. We will leave together by fast train to York. Check -in to our hotel. Relax or go and explore, York is a great town with lots to see all within walking distance of our hotel. Meet the group for dinner with Donna at our private dinner party downtown.

Day 2: Tuesday Aug 9 - Liverpool
We are heading to Liverpool to walk in the footsteps of the Beatles and taste all the great vegan food the city has to offer. We will have a 4 hour walking tour with 6 vegan food stops before heading back to York in the late afternoon.

Meals: Breakfast, food crawl in Liverpool

Day 3: Wednesday, Aug 10 - Yorkshire Steam Railway and Alnwick Castle and Edinburgh
Today we are leaving York for Edinburgh. Along the way we are stopping to take a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway from Pickering to Goathland station (Hogsmeade Station in the Harry Potter movies) next we will proceed to Whitby, explore the shops and market of the seaside town. Our next stop is to Alnwick Castle. Then lastly we will check-in to our hotel in Edinburgh. Dinner together downtown.

Day 4: Thursday, Aug 11 - Free day in Edinburgh
Free day in Edinburgh, with so many things to do. The fringe festival is taking place all week (Showtimes and events will be available to everyone as soon as released for 2021) take in a show or explore the shops and restaurants around downtown.
Optional tour to Military Tattoo. If interested, this should be booked as soon as possible as space is limited.

Day 5: Friday, Aug 12 - Highlands Loch Ness
Leaving Edinburgh at 8.00 am, we travel past the stunning views of the Forth Bridge and enter the Highlands through Perthshire, a land of forests, rivers and mountains. We visit the quaint village of Dunkeld with its historic cathedral sitting on the banks of the River Tay. It’s then further north into the Highlands before we enter the Great Glen. At Fort Augustus, there is time to explore the shores of Loch Ness and a chance to spot Nessie. The journey continues to the famous Isle of Skye but first, we take in spectacular Eilean Donan Castle, one of Scotland’s most famous icons. Our home for the night is the Isle of Skye, the ‘winged isle’...

Day 6: Saturday, Aug 13 - Highlands the Isle of Skye
We spend the day exploring the dramatic Isle of Skye with its amazing scenery, myths and legends. Hear tales of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s escape from the mainland against the backdrop of the jagged Cuillin Mountains. Highlights include the mysterious rock formation of the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock with its cascading waterfall and Dunvegan's impressive castle.

Day 7: Sunday, Aug 14 - Highlands
We have the chance to explore the castle and gardens of Clan Donald Skye before taking the ferry to the west coast fishing village of Mallaig. Here you can board the Jacobite Steam Train to Fort William, one of the most spectacular railway journeys in the world. The train crosses the Glenfinnan Viaduct where a monument to Bonnie Prince Charlie’s campaign now stands. We head south through the dramatic scenery of Glencoe, wild Rannoch Moor then the heart of Rob Roy country before arriving back in Edinburgh at approximately 8.30pm.

Day 8: Monday, Aug 15 - Transfer to next destination

Today we are leaving York for Edinburgh.
