We've created an unforgettable immersive vegan travel experience of Israel for you!

This unique 9-day trip takes you beyond traditional sightseeing to explore Israel through the lens of its vibrant vegan movement.

You’ll meet with activists and leaders who are shaping Israel’s sustainable future, gaining insight into the innovative organizations and startups driving the change.

From the bustling streets of Tel Aviv to the historic beauty of Jerusalem, you’ll eat delicious vegan food while experiencing the natural wonders of the country, including hikes in the Judean Hills, a coastal sunset walk, and biking through the Carmel Mountains.

You’ll also explore the Jewish spiritual side of food, culminating in a special Shabbat experience at the Dead Sea.

All meals on the trip will be vegan and kosher, ensuring a meaningful and sustainable journey through Israel.

Itinerary

Day 1: Monday, October 27th, 2025 – WELCOME TO ISRAEL!
3pm: Meet Akiva Gersh, the Vegan Rabbi at the hotel lobby

Day 2: Tuesday, October 28th, 2025 – JERUSALEM, WHERE ANCIENT MEETS MODERN 
AM: Breakfast at the hotel; walking tour day combined with the light rail
Optional morning tour of the Jewish Quarter; explore the rooftops, cardo and the Western Wall
PM: Tour and tasting at the famous Machne Yehuda open-market. Sample a variety of local vegan delicacies and meet the vendors
Meet with a Vegan MK, Miki Haimovitch, and learn about the ‘Meatless Monday’ initiative she spearheaded in the Knesset, including her other environmental efforts [pending confirmation]
EVE: Free evening; dinner on your own

Day 3: Wednesday, October 29th, 2025 – ALONG THE MEDITERRANEAN COASTLINE 
AM: Breakfast and check out of your hotel
Nature hike in the Sataf National Park, located in the Judean Hills. Enjoy the beautiful view of Jerusalem and discover this ancient city and its impressive agriculture platforms
PM: Lunch on your own Visit the Freedom Farm Sanctuary; meet the co-founder and Israeli vegan activist Adit Romano who establish this farm to help people reconnect with their intrinsic compassion for all living beings

Day 4: Thursday, October 30th, 2025 – HAIFA AND THE CARMEL MOUNTAINS  
AM: Breakfast at the hotel Explore the Bahai Gardens for breathtaking vistas of Haifa, Israel's vibrant and diverse city. Continue south to Zichron Yaakov, a pioneer city founded in 1882. Explore its quaint main street and historical buildings
PM: Outdoor picnic lunch; afternoon options:

• Active: Mountain biking or hiking across Rothschild Gardens; view an Ottoman farm, a fortified Herodian Palace and the Tzur spring and ancient bathhouse OR
• Leisure: Tour and wine tasting at the award-winning Somek Winery; this winery specializes in vegan wine that is made using no animal-derived ingredients!

Visit the Shafdan, a waste water treatment plant that prevents the contamination of the Mediterranean Sea

Optional tour through Neve Tzedek, the first Jewish neighborhood established outside of Jaffa. Wander through this charming area, now a vibrant center for local artists and designers

🗹 Over 9 days you will meet with Israeli activists and leaders in the vegan movement and see what organizations and start-ups are doing to make Israel, as well as the world, a more sustainable place.

🗹 You will also eat a lot of delicious Israeli vegan food, from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv and beyond.

🗹 You will also discover the natural beauty of Israel with a hike in the Judean Hills, an inspiring sunset coastal walk, a bike ride through the foothills of the Carmel Mountains as well as morning yoga on the beach!

🗹 Throughout the trip, there will be a number of study and discussion sessions with Rabbi Akiva Gersh, the "Vegan Rabbi", who will be with us throughout the trip, including during our very special Shabbat in the Dead Sea where, amongst other things, you will explore and experience the Jewish spiritual side of food and eating.

• Transportation in evenings when dinner is on own.
• Tips to the tour guide and driver at your own discretion. The recommended tipping are as follows: tour guide driving a private car for up to 4 passengers: $90 per touring day in total. Group of 5-9 passengers in a minibus with a separate driver: $110 per day for the tour guide & $80 per day for the driver. Group of 10–19 passengers or more: $14 per participant per day for the tour guide & $7 per participant per day for the driver.
• Amendments to the program: In the event that any sites, programs or meals etc. are added to the program, an additional fee may be required.
• Any guests at meals or activities.  
• Personal extras: Items of personal nature such as laundry, wines, mineral water, beverages, coffee, tea, food other than the table d’hotel menu, passport and visa fees, insurance, and foreign port taxes, unless otherwise specified.
• Water and snacks on the bus.
• Luggage: All tour packages allow one pieces per person and one carry-on bag. Excess luggage will be subject to a charge of up to $100 per piece. Magnolia will not be held responsible for any damage to or loss of luggage/personal items. All damage/loss must be reported at time of incident and documented in writing by local authorities for submission to the insurance company.
• US and foreign airport taxes, fuel surcharge and border taxes when applicable.
• Value Added Tax is not included in our proposal and is currently not applicable to tourists visiting Israel. Should the law change, you will be notified accordingly and V.A.T. will be added to your final invoice.
